What are the products offered by Obsidian Research?
Obsidian Research offers products intended exclusively for laboratory, academic, institutional, or other legitimate research purposes.
Products are not for human or animal consumption and are not intended for therapeutic, diagnostic, dosing, injection, ingestion, or other personal-use purposes.
Do you provide medical or product-use guidance?
No. Obsidian Research LLC does not provide medical, therapeutic, dosing, preparation, administration, injection, ingestion, or health-related advice.
Customers are responsible for following applicable laboratory procedures, institutional protocols, and product-specific documentation.
Documentation & Product Information
What documentation is available?
Product pages may display batch-specific information, including a lot or batch identifier and available supporting documentation.
Where documentation is provided by a manufacturer or supplier, it is identified as Supplier-Issued Documentation. Supplier-provided documentation is not represented as independent testing commissioned or performed by Obsidian Research LLC unless expressly stated otherwise.
Public documents are posted only when Obsidian Research is authorized to make them available.
Are COAs available on request?
Documentation availability varies by product and batch.
The Batch Documentation section on the applicable product page is the primary public source for currently available documentation.
If documentation is required for your laboratory review, please contact Obsidian Research LLC before placing an order to confirm what is available for the specific product and batch.
Does Obsidian Research guarantee purity or testing results?
No blanket purity percentage, testing result, or laboratory-performance guarantee should be inferred unless it is specifically supported by documentation associated with the applicable product and batch.
Any supplier-issued analytical documentation should be reviewed as documentation provided by that supplier and should not be interpreted as independent testing performed by Obsidian Research LLC.
Ordering & Payment
Which payment methods are available?
The payment methods displayed during checkout are the methods currently available for the order and customer location.
Depending on eligibility and availability, these methods may include:
- Zelle
- Cash on Delivery for designated local ZIP codes
- Cryptocurrency
- Third-party cryptocurrency on-ramp services that may allow customers to purchase supported cryptocurrency using an eligible card or other payment method
Availability may vary based on location, order details, provider requirements, and third-party service eligibility.
How does Zelle payment work?
If Zelle is available for your order, the applicable payment instructions are provided after checkout.
An order is not released for shipment until the required payment has been received and confirmed.
Customers should use only the payment instructions provided directly through the Obsidian Research ordering process.
When is Cash on Delivery available?
Cash on Delivery is available only for designated eligible ZIP codes and only when it appears as an available payment option during checkout.
COD availability is location-restricted and may not be available for every order.
Orders using COD remain subject to review and confirmation of the eligible local delivery arrangement.
Can I pay with cryptocurrency?
When cryptocurrency payment is available, customers may use the supported cryptocurrency payment method presented during checkout or in the applicable payment instructions.
Supported assets, networks, and processing requirements may vary.
Customers are responsible for confirming that they are using the correct wallet address, network, and payment amount before sending cryptocurrency.
Can I use a credit or debit card to purchase cryptocurrency for payment?
Where available, a third-party cryptocurrency on-ramp provider may allow an eligible customer to purchase supported cryptocurrency using a card or another payment method and then use that cryptocurrency to complete the order.
These services are provided by independent third parties and may have their own identity-verification, geographic, transaction, card-issuer, and eligibility requirements.
Using an on-ramp does not mean that Obsidian Research is directly processing the customer’s card payment.
How are orders processed?
Orders are subject to review and acceptance.
For applicable manual payment methods, payment instructions are provided after the order is placed.
Orders are not released for shipment until the applicable payment has been confirmed or, in the case of an eligible local Cash on Delivery order, the COD arrangement has been reviewed and confirmed.

How should a product be stored?
Follow the product-specific labeling, documentation, and applicable laboratory procedures associated with the material.
Storage and handling requirements may vary by product.
General website information should not be used as a substitute for product-specific records, supplier documentation, or an institutional laboratory protocol.
Shipping & Support
When will my order ship?
Orders are prepared for shipment after payment has been confirmed, or after an eligible Cash on Delivery arrangement has been accepted where applicable.
Processing and transit times may vary based on order volume, carrier conditions, destination, holidays, and other circumstances.
Any shipping estimates provided by a carrier are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated by the carrier.
