1. Returns & Refunds
All sales are final.
Due to the nature of the research materials we offer, we are unable to:
- Accept returns
- Offer exchanges
- Provide refunds on shipped orders
If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so before it has been shipped for a full refund. Once an order has been shipped, it is considered final and is no longer eligible for cancellation or refund.
2. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the incorrect item(s), please contact us as soon as possible and include the following:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the item(s) received
- A clear photo of the shipping label
- A clear photo of the packaging your order was received in
Our team will review your claim and determine the most appropriate resolution based on the circumstances.
Depending on the situation, this may include:
- Replacement of the damaged or incorrect item
- Partial or full store credit for a future purchase
- A monetary refund when a replacement is not available or another appropriate resolution cannot be provided
3. Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a package has been marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, responsibility for the shipment transfers to the customer.
Obsidian Research is not responsible for:
- Lost packages after confirmed delivery
- Stolen packages after confirmed delivery
- Delivery issues resulting from an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer
If you believe your package has been misdelivered, we recommend contacting the shipping carrier directly before reaching out to us. We will gladly assist where possible.
4. Non-Returnable Items
For regulatory, sanitation, and quality control reasons, Obsidian Research cannot accept returns of:
- Any item shipped outside of our standard shipping procedures
- Opened or unopened products once they have left our possession
- Research materials
- Temperature-sensitive products
- Shipping-sensitive products
